Books

A web site dedicated to an author and I’m going to have a page linking to books? Heavens—what a surprise. For the amateur Tolkien fan you can probably check whatever you want to read out from your local library (you are a library patron, aren’t you?), but if you’re considering buying the books for yourself then you’re more than just mildly interested. For that reason I make this recommendation: what you really want to do is buy yourself two copies of everything, one printed and one digital. Why these two formats? Well the print one is for your regular reading, while the digital one is for carrying with you everywhere and looking things up in as needed. Just use the digital one for reading you say? What are we, barbarians?

One note that I would like to make is as to the nature of the links. They all go through Amazon, and specifically their affiliate program. Though I’d like it if you’d use these links to earn me a little money I’d like it better if you have a local source for buying books that supports your community.
